UL, LLC Oracle Cloud HCM Functional Lead in Gurugram, India

The Oracle Learning Cloud Functional Lead needs to provide end‑to‑end functional leadership for Oracle Learning Cloud, overseeing solution design, global implementation, optimization, support, and user adoption. This role partners closely with HR, L&D, HRIS, Talent, and IT stakeholders to translate learning and business requirements into scalable, secure, and user‑centric solutions.

The position is responsible for configuring and optimizing learning structures, managing integrations with third‑party content providers, leveraging AI and Generative AI to enable personalized, skills‑based learning journeys, and enhancing the learner experience using Redwood UX and personalization capabilities. The Functional Lead also owns security, approval workflows, quarterly release management, global testing, change management, and functional service request resolution.

Success in this role requires deep Oracle Fusion HCM and Oracle Learning Cloud expertise, strong leadership in global environments, and a focus on innovation, platform stability, and business value realization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an Oracle Cloud HCM SME for supporting HR business processes and developing strong relationships with the business process owners.

• Responsible for system implementation support of Oracle Learning Cloud.

• Partner with HRIS and L&D team to translate training requirements into Oracle Learning Cloud functional designs (e.g., Catalog hierarchies, Access Groups, and Learning Initiatives)

• Optimize the learner and manager self-service interfaces, utilizing the latest Redwood UX enhancements for a modern, mobile-friendly experience.

• Leverage Oracle Learning Cloud’s embedded AI and Generative AI to automate content creation and deliver a personalized, skills-based learner experience that maps training to specific roles, competencies, and career aspirations.

• Primary point of contact to manage the functional requirements and setups for the Oracle Learning Cloud Approval Workflows, Personalizations and HCM Role Security updates.

• Review, analyze & evaluate current business systems and user needs in order to develop, enhance, implement, and maintain fully functional, integrated, and operational business systems within Oracle and related systems, following IT standards and IT Change control processes.

• Partner with business teams to design solutions that meet business requirements and develop enhancements to support business process changes and improvements.

• Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications and manage the specification changes.

• Working with business, technical and Oracle teams should manage the patch cycles, by assessing and mitigating the impact of upcoming patches and managing the logging/working on SRs to resolution.

• Oversee global testing to ensure no harm to the business due to other business units entering or changing functionality in shared environments.

• Develop training material and provide one-on-one and group training as necessary.

• Negotiates with business to prioritize requests that support business objectives and drive business assessment of project cost/benefits.

• Identifies technology opportunities to help with business issues. Provides input to IT management on technology standards and operations.

• Drive change management initiatives

  • University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar field preferred with 10 years of relevant experience.

  • Proven expertise in Oracle Learning Cloud (OLC) is required, specifically within the context of a full-lifecycle global implementation and/or ongoing large-scale support.

  • Hands-on experience setting up Learning Items (Courses, Offerings, Specializations), Activity Sequencing, and Evaluation/Assessment templates.

  • Manage the integration of third-party content providers (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, Skillsoft) and troubleshoot SCORM/AICC/API content compatibility issues.

  • Hands-on experience in configuring and maintaining Security, VBS Personalization's to extend Oracle Redwood pages, Approval Workflow Rules, HCM Experience Design Studio and Page composer Personalization setups is a nice to have.

  • Knowledge of industry best practices and standards about the Cloud.

  • Experience implementing large-scale ERP solutions in global companies preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.

  • Oracle certification(s) is a plus.
