Stryker Engineer - Power BI Developer in Gurugram, India
What you will do:
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dataflows to support enterprise reporting
Build optimized datasets and semantic models within Microsoft Power BI
Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
Create and optimize DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs
Connect to and integrate data from sources such as Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, APIs, and cloud platforms
Implement data transformation and cleansing processes using Power Query (M language)
Ensure data accuracy, governance, and security using row-level security (RLS) and best practices
Optimize report performance and manage refresh schedules
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
Document data models, transformation logic, and reporting standards
What you will need:
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience developing solutions in Microsoft Power BI
Bachelors degree in Engineering
Proven experience building and managing Power BI Dataflows
Strong proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M)
Experience designing star schema data models
Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL
Experience implementing RLS and data governance standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure SQL or Data Lake
Knowledge of ETL best practices and data warehousing concepts
Experience with deployment pipelines and workspace management
Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-300)
