Technical Operations/Maintenance
Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.
Job overview and responsibilities
This position will help the Technical Operations team achieve their operational goals by applying a wide array of skills, including but not limited to data analysis, reporting, predictive analytics, and project management. The position will work closely with stakeholders from each group and provide support on various projects
Create, process, and follow through on dashboards per business need
Utilize advanced data analysis, machine learning, and generative AI techniques by leveraging cutting-edge tools such as SQL, Python, PySpark, Palantir Foundry, Databricks, and dashboards like Power BI.
Be able to manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensional data from various sources to highlight patterns and relationships
Performs ad-hoc data mining and analysis as required
Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data
Compile weekly and monthly productivity reports, project support, process analysis, and continuous improvement

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in Computer Science, Data Science or IT related field of study
At least 3-4 years of experience in aviation/ aviation maintenance or related fields; or at least 3-4 years of experience in any analytical field
Superior attention to accuracy and detail
Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially MS Excel
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Proven comfort and intellectual curiosity in working with large datasets, along with hands-on experience in both supervised and unsupervised modeling techniques.
Experienced in manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, and high-dimensional data from various sources to identify patterns and relationships.
Proficient in writing complex queries and procedures using both traditional and modern technologies and programming languages, such as SQL and Python.
Skilled in data visualization, utilizing reporting tools like Power BI and Spotfire to create meaningful dashboards.
Ability to do drill-down analysis to identify operational root causes
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to learn what a business team does, then design a data/technology solution that connects business processes with quantifiable outcomes
Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree
Ability to design and track meaningful operational metrics preferred
