The Business Operations Program Manager serves on a small center-of-excellence team supporting the Optum Growth Office and Office of the CEO. Acting as the operational backbone of the Monthly Business Review (MBR) process, the role drives accountability, mitigates risk, and ensures senior leadership is equipped with high quality, timely, and decision ready content. In addition, the role provides direct executive office support and enables Growth communications through clear, data driven insights into business performance.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop, own and manage end-to-end project plans for the comprehensive Optum Rx Monthly Review Cycle, managing activity across Optum Rx, Optum Growth and Optum/UHG corporate MBR forums
Define and manage MBR milestones, owners, dependencies and timelines, ensuring disciplined planning and consistent, on-time delivery of all materials across multiple stakeholders
Own creation, governance and version control of all MBR meeting artifacts, including calendars, templates, attendee lists, and documentation standards
Consolidate business unit MBR material inputs into cohesive, executive-ready pre-read materials that clearly articulate objectives, decisions, risks and progress against open action items
Own preparation and ongoing maintenance of CEO MBR prep materials, coordinating closely with executive assistants to ensure timely production and delivery
Compile clean notes from Optum Rx MBRs into executive-ready action items and meeting summaries and facilitates appropriate review and approval prior to distribution
Respond to ad-hoc executive office and leadership request by synthesizing Optum Rx and Optum Growth performance, pipeline and client data into actionable insights, leveraging SFGO and additional research
Lead and manage a team of global program managers as part of the OGA Growth Center of Excellence, providing clear direction, prioritization, coaching and performance management
Establish standard operating models, capacity planning, and quality standards across the COE to ensure consistent, scalable and high-quality delivery
Partner with senior leaders to align COE priorities to enterprise needs, ensuring accountability, clear ownership and delivery against commitments

Required Qualifications:
15+ years of experience in project or program management delivering complex, cross-functional work in a global or enterprise environment
5+ years of people management experience, including leading and developing teams in a matrixed model
Experience supporting U.S-based leaders and working effectively across time zones
Proficiency with SalesforceGo CRM
Proficiency with core productivity tools (Microsoft Suite) and ability to manage trackers, documentation and operational artifacts at scale
Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting executive office functions, including preparation of pre-reads, briefing binders and leadership talking points
Proven skill in analytics and data insights, including translating data into executive-level narratives
