Your role and responsibilities

As a Brand Technical Specialist for Network Management products within IBM's Automation Platform, you will act as a technical consultant to IBM clients and sellers by architecting solutions and delivering Proofs of Technology. You will utilize your technical expertise to support the sales process and provide value to clients through solution delivery.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Architect Solutions: Design and develop solutions for Network Management products, including AI for Networking, Edge Application Manager, Hybrid Cloud Mesh, Hybrid Cloud Network Automation, NS1, Rapid Network Automation, and SevOne, to meet client needs and deliver business value.

• Deliver Proofs of Technology: Implement and deliver Proofs of Technology to demonstrate the capabilities and value of Network Management products to clients and sellers.

• Support Sales Process: Collaborate with sellers to understand client requirements and provide technical guidance to support the sales process.

• Provide Technical Expertise: Apply technical knowledge to address client questions and concerns and provide valuable insights to help clients make informed decisions.

• Deliver Solution Value: Ensure solutions delivered meet client expectations and provide tangible business value.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Exposure to Network Management products: Familiarity with AI for Networking, Edge Application Manager, Hybrid Cloud Mesh, Hybrid Cloud Network Automation, NS1, Rapid Network Automation, and SevOne, including their capabilities and applications.

• Technical Consulting Experience: Experience working with clients and sellers to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

• Solution Architecture Skills: Ability to design and develop solutions for Network Management products, considering client needs and delivering business value.

• Proof of Technology Delivery: Experience implementing and delivering Proofs of Technology to demonstrate product capabilities and value to clients and sellers.

• Technical Expertise in Network Management: Exposure to addressing client questions and concerns, providing valuable insights to inform decision-making, and delivering solutions that meet client expectations.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Additional Network Management Tools: Exposure to other network management tools and technologies, including their capabilities and applications, is beneficial for this role.

• Advanced Solution Architecture: Experience with designing and developing complex solutions for Network Management products, considering multiple client needs and delivering significant business value, is advantageous.

• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry trends and developments in network management, including emerging technologies and innovations, can be an asset in this position.
