Mississippi Employer Front Desk Supervisor in Gulfport, Mississippi

**Summary: The Front Desk Supervisor works at the front desk of the hotel and provides leadership to the Front Desk and Breakfast team members as well as service to hotel guests and clients. The FOM "Front Office Manager" reports to the General Manager and supervises all Front Desk and Breakfast activities, inventories, and schedules, greets and checks in arriving guests and checks out departing guests.

The Front Desk Supervisor performs all duties assigned by the General Manager including Manager on Duty when the General Manager is not on property. Additionally, the FOM provides excellent supervision to the team members, customer service to all guests, makes reservations for guests arriving on the same day or future dates, answers incoming phone calls, and responds to any guest inquiries or requests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain a professional appearance.

Support the General Manager in all daily operations of the hotel.

â

      

Participate in hiring, training and accountability for Front Desk and Breakfast associates.

â

      

Oversee all guest complaints and ensure they are handled in a timely manner with a positive resolution.

â

      

Communicate effectively with support departments to optimize hotel operations.

â

      

Responsible for preparing and reconciling cash deposits.

â

      

Motivate and develop associates.

â

      

Anticipate guest needs to have superior guest service.

â

      

Maintain confidentiality and security of proprietary company information and guest information.

â

      

Ability to work in a high-paced environment with the ability to shift and manage multiple priorities.

â

      

Communicate with management issues regarding safety and service in a timely

  manner.

 

â

      

Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest

questions

and/or concerns.

â

      

Understand and respond to guests' needs and ensure a high level of guest

  satisfaction.
