YOUR NEW ROLE, WHAT’S INVOLVED?
Based at WSP’s Guildford office, working within the UK wide Surveying Services team, alongside the Buried Services Surveying, UAV and MBS teams.
Assisting seniors/surveyors to carry out land and engineering surveys with respect to briefs and specifications
Processing of survey data, ensuring that the prevailing standards of WSP are adhered to
Full training will be given to become proficient in survey techniques, including use of equipment and software packages
YOUR TEAM
Surveying Services (UK)
Working within a team of Surveyors based UK wide, consisting of Topographical, Measured Building & Buried Services Surveyors and UAV Pilots.
Working on surveying projects UK wide
Varied client base from Local Authorities to Multi-Discipline Consultants
Reporting to the survey team lead
City based offices, with excellent transport links and surrounding area includes shops/café/parking train station
Surveying Services promote the power of joined-up geospatial technologies to bring locational data alive
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE
A relevant degree/HND/HNC/T Level in surveying or a related discipline. However, candidates with suitable skills and enthusiasm for the surveying field will be considered
Good problem solving, self-management and people skills
Strong IT skills including Excel, AutoCAD, Python experience would be an advantage
Ability to work effectively alone or as part of a team
The successful applicant will need to travel to sites across the UK as required
