Position Summary
The Environmental Services Lead plays a key role in ensuring a clean, safe, and well‑maintained environment. This position provides hands‑on housekeeping support while assisting the Environmental Services Supervisor with daily operations, staff coordination, and departmental oversight across on‑campus and off‑campus locations.
Essential Functions
Perform general housekeeping and floor care duties to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
Assist the Supervisor with:
Planning and scheduling
Staff training and oversight
Departmental paperwork and administrative tasks
Inventory management and supply ordering
Special projects as assigned
Provide supervision and operational support
Coordinate closely with the Supervisor to ensure consistent cleanliness and service quality across all buildings
Serve as a lead resource for staff, supporting workflow efficiency and best practices
Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred
Minimum of 1 year of Environmental Services experience, including supervisory responsibilities
At least 1 year of floor care experience
Demonstrated ability to develop and apply effective supervisory skills
Ability to safely and effectively operate cleaning equipment required
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills

Pay Range
$17.85 - $21.76
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
