What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of Controlled products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
Accountabilities
Guarantees the integrity, quality and precision of controlled medications
Performs process audits and coordinate other tasks such as: receiving, adjustments, shipping, among others
Will be in contact with internal and external customers, can resolve and manage different situations to ensure the work load is running correctly
Coordinate workflow and communicate effectively with supervisor and team members
May lead team meetings, as assigned
Creation of reports and monitor metrics performance
Maintain an open and honest communication with the Pharmacy Manager
Working Shift: 6:30pm a 3:00am Sunday & Friday | Mon-Thursday 7:30pm a 4:00am
Qualifications
1 to 2 years’ experience in a Warehouse environment
Customer Service Oriented
Demonstrated leadership qualities
Able to work night shifts and weekends, if necessary
Proficient in Microsoft office, Excel is preferred
Good written communication skills
Must be able to work under pressure and tight deadline an a fast pace environment
High school diploma is preferred
Must be able to lift weight up to 70 pounds aprox
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred

Demonstrates a working knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibility
maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
Works on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgment in resolving issues
May assist in recommendation of processes on new assignments
Adheres to all quality guidelines
Works with limited supervision. Work occasionally involves review of output by work lead or supervisor
May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members
