About the role:

The Project Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end administration, coordination, and execution of capital projects. This role ensures all initiatives align with Project Management standards, Business Capital Management financial regulations, and Operational Excellence norms to drive efficiency and cost savings across the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Lifecycle Management: Lead the evaluation, cost estimation, and execution of improvement, EOHS, quality, and new product projects.

  • Technical & Financial Validation: Validate project feasibility, including scope, capacity analysis, financial implications, and ROI (savings).

  • Budgeting & Reporting: Manage project documentation for Cost of Sales and Budget reviews; monitor cash spend and project timelines to ensure financial compliance.

  • Engineering Design: Design and manage Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), provide calculation reports, and oversee IQ/OQ/PQ validation documents.

  • Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination: Partner with Procurement to select and manage vendors; coordinate with Manufacturing, EOHS, and Quality teams to meet technical specifications.

  • Risk & Compliance: Conduct risk analysis and contingency planning; manage the Management of Change (MOC) process and ensure asset capitalization in collaboration with Finance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical, or Electronics preferred).

  • At least 4 years of experience in production plants or industrial project management.

  • Advanced English proficiency (technical and spoken).

  • Proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite, Project Management tools, and SAP.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

  • PMP or PMI certifications.
