About the Role:

As our Export Transportation Planner, you will be the strategic link connecting our Central American operations to the global market. You won't just move cargo; you will orchestrate a complex multimodal network (Air, Sea, Land), driving cost efficiency and lead-time optimization through innovation and world-class logistics execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Regional Orchestration: Direct daily maritime, air, and land export operations, ensuring top-tier service levels from carriers and logistics partners across Central America.

  • Strategic Optimization: Lead "Reimagine" and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce lead times and maximize transportation utilization through shared services and network optimization.

  • Financial Stewardship: Manage logistics budgets and freight replenishment costs, ensuring all shipping conditions and tariffs align with regional financial targets.

  • Compliance & Visibility: Guarantee seamless execution of sales agreements (Incoterms, customs tariffs, and regulatory descriptions) while providing real-time shipment visibility to internal stakeholders.

  • Agility & Resilience: Develop robust contingency plans for force majeure events and continuously update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to adapt to shifting market dynamics.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, International Trade, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation planning, or supply chain roles.

  • Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).

  • Deep understanding of multimodal logistics (Air, Sea, Land) and international trade regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in SAP and G-Suite; experience managing SEADEX/FYDUCA platforms.

  • Experience leveraging AI tools to automate manual workflows and enhance data accuracy.

  • Proven background in implementing continuous improvement or cost-saving (FTG) projects.
