Position: Cost Accounting Analyst
Location: Guatemala, GU, GTM
Role Summary
As a Supply Chain Finance Analyst, you will drive financial performance and control across supply chain operations, focusing on fixed assets, logistics costs, and material losses. You will play a strategic role in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process for Oral Care and Toothbrush plants by providing accurate costing estimations to support business growth.
Main Responsibilities
Fixed Assets & CapEx Management: Support end-to-end financial management of fixed assets and analyze Capital Expenditure (CapEx), tracking project spending versus budget and ensuring timely capitalization.
Logistics Cost Optimization: Monitor and analyze freight, warehousing, and distribution expenses to identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
Material Loss Analysis: Manage financial tracking of material losses, collaborating with operations to identify root causes and monitor the impact of reduction initiatives.
NPI & Costing Support: Serve as the primary finance lead for the New Product Development (NPD) process, providing accurate cost estimations for Oral Care and Toothbrush categories.
Financial Planning & Analysis: Support annual budgeting and forecasting for supply chain expenses, providing detailed monthly variance analysis against budget and forecasts.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner with plant controllers and operational managers to ensure data integrity in cost accounting systems and drive a cost-conscious culture.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in Finance.
Language: Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) for international collaboration.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SAP and Google/Microsoft tools (Advanced Excel/Sheets).
