Description
Assemble, configure, install, and provide support for computer hardware, software, peripherals, and related components.
Provide day-to-day IT operations support, including diagnosing and resolving incidents and service requests.
Create, maintain, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), customer service guidelines, and troubleshooting documentation for new or updated services and activities.
Recommend improvements to IT technology lifecycle management, including refresh, replacement, standardization, and process enhancements.
Monitor endpoints and systems to detect, contain, and remove malware and illegal or non-authorized software in accordance with internal policies.
Support and monitor internal applications and tools used by the IT Operations group.
Share expertise with colleagues and contribute to team knowledge through documentation, guidance, and collaboration.
Perform a variety of related tasks requiring sound judgment and independent problem-solving.
Minimum Qualifications
4–6 years of experience in IT operations, desktop support, or technical support (hardware/software).
Vocational, technical, or equivalent education/training in an IT-related field and/or demonstrated advanced expertise in relevant areas.
Hands-on experience with hardware assembly, configuration, and installation (PCs, laptops, peripherals, and components).
Experience troubleshooting operating systems, applications, and common endpoint issues in an enterprise environment.
Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation (SOPs, troubleshooting guides, service procedures).
Knowledge of basic security practices, including identifying and remediating malware and unauthorized software.
Demonstrated customer service skills, including clear communication and professional support interactions.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, apply judgment, and work effectively with limited supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting and monitoring internal IT operational tools and applications in a corporate environment.
Experience contributing to lifecycle planning (asset refresh, standardization initiatives, process improvement).
Familiarity with endpoint security tooling and incident handling processes (e.g., malware containment/removal workflows).
Experience mentoring or informally coaching peers through knowledge-sharing and documentation.
