Regional Sales Director - South China
BASIC FUNCTION S
Responsible for the coordination of the sales service and management of the regional office, includingliaison with the distributor, introduction of new products and preparing the budget. Overall supervision of the market penetration plan within the assigned regions under the care of the branch office. Lead regional sales, formulate sales strategy for assigned territory or products, develop sales forecast, budget and manpowerplans; directs distributors and /or sales force to achieve sales targets; pursue major prospects and lead in major negotiations and construct appropriate terms of sales.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Build a high-performance regional sales team and lead the team to achieve the annual sales target
Ø UnderstandingKohler’s distributors, competitors and other market information.
Ø Maintain a close connection with theKohler’s distributors.
Ø Coordinate, develop, evaluate, audit and approve the yearly budget of the different sales executives in the region.
Ø Work together with the sales executives todevelop a consistent and long-term sales network and assist in both the assessment and development of the new network.
Ø Recommend, guide and develop new sales network.
Ø Advise the company in relation to the termination or increase of the credit limit of the Kohler’s distributors and to ensure that all unpaid bills and orders are collected.
Ø Authorized and/or advise on the handling methods in relation to distributors, retailers and customer complaints.
Ø Reorganize the existing sales network in order to meet the regional sales target.
Ø Responsible for managing the meeting of the sales office.
Ø Management of the regional office:
A) Employ and terminate employees in accordance with the company’s personnel policy.
B) Prepare the yearly budget.
C) Prepare the cash budget.
D) Advise on employees’ salary.
E) Assess and approve the expense claim forms.
F) Ensure the sales office’s money is used effectively.
G) Through phone calls, maintain connection with the market.
H) Decide on the location of the new branch office if necessary.
I ) Perform sales analysis, expenditure and other related information.
J) Cooperate with other regions.
K) Evaluate and approve the complaint reports on product defects.
L) Coordinate and report on the market research results.
Ø Provide training to the new recruited sales executive.
Ø Advise on discount policy and /or sales’ policy and profitrelated issues as well as any ideas in relation to increasing the competitiveness of the company.
Ø Maintain the competitiveness of the branch office so as to maintain the high productionvolume and profit of the plants, and be well-versed on the market situation and the competition.
Ø Maintain KohlerChina grasp on the market situation by providing information on competitor’s product, cost and other related information advantageous to the company.
Ø Attend related functions that will be beneficial to the company’s long and short sales activities.
Ø Conduct speeches for business/groups related to the industry.
Ø Perform assignments given by the management.
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS
Ø Report directly to the VP-Sales, Kohler China.
Ø Frequently contacts with Marketing Manager on all marketing activities and potential, new products and competitors.
Ø Frequently contacts with Training Manager on customer/sales team training.
Ø Frequently contacts with CCSC Team on implementation of products order / payment.
Ø Frequently contacts with Accounting Manager on coordinating of all kinds of customer’s payment.
Ø Communicate with different people in the market to collect sales information on Kohler’s products.
Skills/Requirements
University graduated, major in business administration ormarketing, andat least15 years’experience or above in sales management.
