Your role and responsibilities
As a Software Developer: Generalist, you will design, develop, test, and deliver offerings using leading-edge and/or proven technologies. You will work in an Agile, collaborative environment to understand stakeholder requirements. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Develop Innovative Solutions: Design, code, and test innovative component-level software solutions, ensuring that the implemented solutions are unit tested and ready to be integrated into their product. • Contribute to CI/CD Pipeline: Contribute to the automated CI/CD pipeline that takes code through various quality stages. • Debug Customer Issues: Debug customer-reported problems, designing, developing, and unit testing code fixes. • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work in an Agile environment to understand stakeholder requirements and deliver solutions. • Test and Deliver Offerings: Test and deliver offerings using leading-edge and/or proven technologies.
Required technical and professional expertise
• Basic Understanding of Programming: Exposure to programming concepts, data structures, and software design patterns. • Familiarity with Agile Methodologies: Interest in Agile development practices and version control systems. • Exposure to Testing Frameworks: Basic understanding of testing principles and exposure to testing frameworks. • Curiosity about Cloud Technologies: Interest in cloud-based technologies and platforms. • Basic Knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines: Exposure to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and their role in software development.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Familiarity with DevOps Tools: Exposure to DevOps tools and practices is beneficial for this role, allowing for smoother collaboration and automation in the software development lifecycle. • Knowledge of Front-End Development: Basic understanding of front-end development principles and exposure to front-end development frameworks can be advantageous in designing and delivering comprehensive software solutions. • Understanding of L3 Support Engineering: Interest in L3 support engineering and exposure to debugging techniques can be helpful in resolving complex customer-reported issues.
