We are currently seeking a Salesforce QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).
QA Automation Engineer
Role Overview
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a robust automation ecosystem. You will ensure the highest standards of product reliability by building scalable frameworks and integrating automated testing into every stage of our software delivery lifecycle.
Core Responsibilities
Framework Development: Build and maintain comprehensive QA, regression, and performance automation frameworks that ensure software scalability and functional accuracy.
Pipeline & Environment Management: Manage GitHub code structures and branching strategies across Dev, QA, Staging, and Production environments to ensure seamless deployments and environment stability.
Strategy & Integration: Collaborate with development teams to create automation strategies, integrating testing protocols directly into existing engineering processes and CI/CD pipelines.
Execution & Analysis: Develop and execute automated scripts (using Selenium or bespoke frameworks) to validate functionality, diagnose root causes of defects, and provide detailed reports for stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Review software requirements to prepare complex test scenarios and perform automated smoke/regression testing to validate bug fixes.
Full-Spectrum Testing: Oversee all aspects of automation including performance, security, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for automated processes, test results, and troubleshooting guides to support cross-functional knowledge sharing.
Qualifications & Technical Skills
Experience: 8–10+ years of proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
Programming: Strong expertise in languages such as Apex , Java , or Python .
Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience testing and automating within Salesforce and Amazon Connect environments.
Automation Tools: Mastery of automated testing tools like Selenium , TestComplete , or equivalent frameworks.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
Certifications (Plus): ISTQB Certified Tester or Certified Software Test Automation Specialist is highly preferred.
Cloud & Infrastructure
Cloud Platforms: Working knowledge of AWS (specifically services related to Amazon Connect) or Azure/GCP environments.
CI/CD: Experience integrating automated tests into DevOps pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).
Database: Proficiency in SQL and experience validating data integrity within cloud databases.
Soft Skills
Analytical Thinking: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause analysis and detail-oriented defect tracking.
Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments, bridging the gap between developers, product owners, and stakeholders.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to translate complex technical findings into actionable insights for non-technical teams.
Adaptability: A proactive learner who can quickly master new tools and stay ahead of evolving automation trends.
