IBM Quality & Process Improvement / Automation Specialist in GUADALAJARA, Mexico
Introduction
The SOAR Engineer drives operational excellence across cybersecurity functions by identifying and implementing opportunities to improve process quality, efficiency, and automation. This role works hands‑on with cybersecurity teams to reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and strengthen adherence to cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements in a mission‑critical Energy & Utilities environment.
Your role and responsibilities
Identifying and prioritizing automation opportunities across cybersecurity operations.
Designing and implementing automation solutions (e.g., SOAR playbooks, workflow automation, reporting automation).
Supporting development of quality scorecards and KPIs
Ensuring adherence to escalation protocols, playbooks, and response standards.
Supporting audit readiness and compliance validation activities.
Required technical and professional expertise
8+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, process improvement, automation, or operational excellence roles, preferably within Energy & Utilities, critical infrastructure, or regulated environments.
English B2+/C1
