Your role and responsibilities
As a JavaScript FullStack Student we require someone with the ability to provide and propose new solutions using automated and high-end technology.
You will help us maintain cloud applications using Openshift, Cirrus, Watson, and modern web frameworks so we can generate higher business value; you will also participate in the support of newly-built solutions.
A JavaScript FullStack Student designs, develops, tests and delivers offerings using leading edge and/or proven technologies. Works in an Agile, collaborative environment to understand stakeholder requirements. Designs, codes, and tests innovative component-level software solutions. Ensures that the implemented solutions are unit tested and ready to be integrated into their product. Also debugs customer-reported problems: designs, develops and unit tests code fixes.
Required technical and professional expertise
Experience in Spring, Express, Nodejs for backend
Experience using the Angular, React, Vue, or Svelte frameworks for frontend
Development experience on Java, Java Script or Python
Experience on HTML5/CSS, Git, Docker
NoSQL/SQL databases
CI Tools like Jenkins, Travis, etc
Knowledge of design patterns, data structures and frontend performance
Strong architecture skills
Experience building responsive web applications that are scalable and resilient
Working knowledge building REST APIs
Testing culture, unit testing and automated system testing
Ability to work in a team environment to develop and implement design
Collaborative work with stakeholders to understand constraints and expectations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
At least B2 CEFR English proficiency level
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast paced environment
Preferred technical and professional experience
Testing (manual and automation testing)
Agile/Scrum framework experience
Knowledge/Experience coding and supporting legacy Lotus Notes applications and databases
Knowledge/Experience coding and supporting DB2 databases
J2EE, JSPs, Servlets, JDBC.
