Your role and responsibilities

This role involves designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Java 16, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka. Key responsibilities encompass application development, database interaction with SQL and ORM frameworks, integrating Kafka for real-time data processing, developing RESTful web services, rigorous testing and debugging, managing cloud-based CI/CD pipelines, optimizing application performance, maintaining comprehensive documentation, collaborating effectively within teams, continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends, and implementing robust security measures. The ideal candidate, with at least 5 years of experience in Java development and a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, will be a self-starter capable of working in a fast-paced environment while ensuring secure coding practices, effective communication, and adherence to quality standards.

Required technical and professional expertise

• More than 3 years developing Web Applications using Java

• Hands on experience using Java 16 or higher versions

• Hands on experience using Springboot and Messaging frameworks (MQ, Kafka)

• Hands on experience deploying web applications to Cloud (Openshift/AWS)

• English Level B2 or higher

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Hands on experience using Apache Kafka

• Hands on experience using Spring Batch

• Hands on experience on frontend development (React JS)

• Hands on experience developing back end cloud applicaations (Node JS/Golang)

• Hands on experience using AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, Terraform)
