Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Level III NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Examiner to support a surge in workload and increasing inspection oversight requirements. This role serves as the regulatory authority for NDT inspectors, ensuring compliance, certifications, and inspection excellence across welding and fabrication operations.
You will play a critical role in program oversight, inspector qualification, and certification, acting as both an auditor and technical leader within a growing NDT organization.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities:
Provide oversight and governance for NDT inspectors conducting weld inspections
Act as the regulatory and auditing authority for NDT activities
Own NDT program oversight, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and internal procedures
Conduct physical oversight and field audits of inspectors
Review and analyze inspection metrics, performance data, and quality trends
Administer and oversee certification and re-certification testing
Develop and update training materials and inspection procedures
Support continuous improvement within the NDT program

Skills and Requirements
Level III NDT Certification (ASNT or BPMI)
5+ years of experience in one or more NDT methods:
PT (Liquid Penetrant)
MT (Magnetic Particle)
RT (Radiographic Testing)
PAUT (Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing)
VT (Visual Testing)
Strong understanding of inspection standards, compliance, and quality systems
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance - Formal NDT schooling or certification program
Prior welding or inspector hands‑on experience
Experience mentoring, training, or auditing other inspectors
