All Star Power Excavation LLC Civil Estimator/Project Manager in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan
We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our Construction team to improve infrastructure while working remotely. MDOT experience is highly preferred. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for estimating and plan review for heavy construction/excavation projects and will collaborate with project managers. Candidates must have at least 5 years experience in heavy construction estimating. Typical responsibilities will include:
- Interpret project plans and specifications for bidding
- Conduct field inspections and maintain work item quantities
- Prepare MSL, Submittals, and Purchase Orders
- Ordering and Scheduling job materials
- Assist Project Managers
- Attend client, public, project and staff meeting including plan review, and preconstruction
- MDOT experience is highly preferred
This is a full-time position. Some flexibility in hours is permitted, but must be available during the standard work hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This is a remote position, with required weekly jobsite meetings.
