Systems Validation Specialist- Early Phase (Netherlands)

ICON is seeking a Systems Validation Specialist to join our Specialist Early Phase group in the Netherlands. In this role, you will support the GMP-regulated division, with responsibility for validation activities across both the manufacturing facility (pharmacy) in Groningen and the QC laboratory in Assen.
This position follows ICON’s office-based with flex working model, allowing you to split your time between our Groningen and Assen sites and remote work, depending on project needs, operational requirements, and audits.
Key Responsibilities
Validate and qualify equipment and computerized systems in accordance with ICON procedures
Support internal and external stakeholders in validation processes or act as a project lead
Prepare, review, and maintain documentation for validation and qualification activities
Drive continuous improvement of processes and quality standards
Share validation expertise and provide guidance to stakeholders
Respond to regulatory queries and support audit activities
Your Profile
MBO+ or HBO level education (or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of validation, particularly computerized systems
Solid understanding of EudraLex Volume 4 Annex 15 and other applicable validation regulations
Familiarity with GMP, GCP, or GLP; cleanroom experience is a plus
Affinity for technology and IT systems
Excellent communication skills with a quality- and solution-oriented mindset
Independent, proactive, and fluent in English (written and spoken)
