Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating production machinery, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring product quality in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable with frequent lifting of materials up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment according to safety and quality standards.
Perform machine setup, calibration, and minor troubleshooting.
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Document production data and report any issues to supervisors.
Assist with loading/unloading raw materials and finished goods.
Frequently lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Follow all company safety protocols and procedures.

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate-controlled environment with varying shifts. The 2nd shift operates from 2pm to 10pm as a Utility Operator, and the 3rd shift runs from 8pm to 8am as a Machine Operator. The schedule alternates weekly, with 36 hours in the first week and 48 hours in the second week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Griffin, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
