Behavior Technician (School Setting)
Contract | Full-Time | Weekdays | 37.5 hrs/week

Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to provide educational and behavioral support to children and young adults with special needs in a school-based setting. This role involves working collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and behavioral specialists to help students achieve individualized learning and behavioral goals.
Assignments include supporting autistic and EBD (Emotional & Behavioral Disorder) students in self-contained classrooms, including 5 elementary classrooms and 2 transitional K–12 classrooms. No charting system is required.
Responsibilities
Support the implementation of educational and behavioral plans for students with special needs.
Assist in maintaining a structured, supportive classroom environment.
Work collaboratively with teachers and behavioral specialists.
Provide one-on-one or small-group support as needed.
Promote positive behavior strategies and help students achieve learning goals.
Minimum Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be certified through the GaPSC — absolutely required (no exceptions).
ABA or classroom experience required.
At least 18 years of age.
Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred.
Current CPR certification (if applicable).
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable).
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
