This Opportunity is for a Tool & Die Maker with a work location in Grenada, MS.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, reference material, diagrams, or other manufacturer's material related to the products to be machined.
- Familiar with machinery tools such as lathes, grinders, and milling machines.
- Good shop mathematics knowledge.
- Knowledge of various measuring instruments such as micrometers, height gauges, and tape measures.
- Able to machine a product within correct tolerances and dimensions utilizing tooling equipmen and proper procedures.
- Must be able to set up and operate all tool room equipment
- Understand and work within all safety rules
- Proper operation of forklift
- Proper operation of hoists and cranes Able to load and feed steel and material into dies.
- Knowledge of how to adjust for steel/material alignment in dies. Perform re-set ups and die changeovers.
- Proper use of OD & ID Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gages, Thread Gages, and Dial Indicators.
