We’re looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Maintenance Engineer who thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment and enjoys solving complex equipment and process challenges. In this role, you’ll lead reliability and maintenance initiatives that improve safety, uptime, and cost efficiency across critical production assets.
You’ll partner closely with operations, mechanical maintenance, engineering, and vendors to optimize equipment performance and drive continuous improvement across the plant.
What You’ll Do
Lead E&I maintenance and reliability activities for assigned production areas and equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, instrumentation, drives, and control system issues
Analyze equipment failures and implement root-cause solutions to improve uptime
Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies and job plans
Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance work and major shutdown activities
Support and improve power systems, motors, drives, and distributed control systems (DCS)
Manage small capital and improvement projects (specifications, drawings, BOMs, procedures)
Drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost-reduction initiatives
Partner with mechanical maintenance and production teams on reliability improvements
Manage spare parts strategy and MRO inventory for E&I equipment
Serve as a key liaison between maintenance, engineering, construction, and operations
Provide technical leadership and guidance to E&I technicians
What You Bring
B.S. in Electrical Engineering required
3–6 years of E&I maintenance or reliability experience in manufacturing
Strong troubleshooting skills in power systems, motors, drives, and instrumentation
Experience with distributed control systems (FOX DCS preferred)
Data-driven problem solving and root-cause analysis capability
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a team-based plant environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Willingness to provide occasional off-hours technical support
“The salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
