Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Greenwood Village, Colorado
Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This role is critical to driving core financial planning and analysis (FP& A) functions during a high-demand period, with a focus on creating precise, actionable financial models and insights. The successful candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, delivering accurate forecasts and analyses while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and update monthly forecasts, including actuals and projections for remaining months.
• Develop and maintain financial models and compensation budgets from the ground up.
• Lead the preparation of the fiscal year budget and manage forecasting cycles.
• Conduct variance analyses by comparing actual results to budgets and forecasts.
• Build and refine financial models utilizing exported operational data with high accuracy.
• Leverage data tools and advanced Excel techniques, including pivot tables and scenario modeling, to deliver actionable insights.
• Prepare financial analyses and reports for leadership and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and relevance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze key performance drivers.
• Support ad hoc projects, such as urgent financial analyses and board-level presentation materials.
• Contribute to monthly operational reviews by providing insights into financial and operational performance. Requirements • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in FP& A, corporate finance, consulting, or banking.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the ability to build complex financial models.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
• Experience working in private equity-backed or high-growth companies is a plus.
• Familiarity with BI tools, such as Power BI, and ERP systems like NetSuite is advantageous.
• Ability to partner effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Must be available to start immediately and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
