Insight Global Senior DevOps Engineer- Python, AWS in Greenwood Village, Colorado
Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking to add a DevOps Engineer to their team who can ramp quickly and contribute immediately. This engineer will join an established team, writing and maintaining Python code, using Airflow for workflow scheduling, and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure built with Terraform. Day‑to‑day work includes maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or GitHub Actions (no Jenkins), performing Bash scripting in a Linux environment, supporting Databricks workflows, and helping maintain the reliability and performance of production AWS infrastructure across the Experimental Data verticals.
This position is a continuous contract role with extensions every 6 months. The role will pay between $55-65 per hour and will be 3 days a week onsite in Greenwood Village CO.

Skills and Requirements
Very strong Python experience
Hands‑on AWS Cloud experience
Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
CI/CD experience with GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team Linux and Bash scripting
Experience with Databricks
Workflow orchestration experience (Airflow)
PhD in a STEM field
Experience supporting large‑scale production environments
