The hourly rate for this position is $19.50 - $28.13. This rate may vary based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, and geographic location.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Equipment & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the successful fulfillment of equipment needs for meetings both domestically and internationally in addition to inventory management and maintenance of equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The accountabilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required:
Coordinates the preparation and transport of shipments to and from meeting venues with shipping vendors
Ensures accurate packing, unpacking, and delivery of all inbound and outbound materials
Maintains and ensures equipment is in working condition
Troubleshoots and resolves equipment and shipping issues while under time constraints
Procures equipment based on meeting volume and necessity
Updates the company's inventory system in Salesforce as it relates to equipment inventory
Organizes and maintains the equipment room to ensure order and accessibility
Processes international shipments and associated paperwork including carnets (international customs document) and commercial invoices
Reconciles and cross references employee equipment and inventory annually with database
Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, skills, experience to successfully perform the job
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 1 year experience in shipping and logistics or equivalent work experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word
The ability to work a flexible schedule depending on when meetings are scheduled or when shipments are needed.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team settings
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Ability to adapt to ever-changing, high pressure work situations

There will be a need to attend to single or simultaneous tasks where accuracy of details is important. The need for detailed and precise work is high.
