Eaton Corporation Electrical Tester, 2nd Shift in Greenwood, South Carolina
Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Electrical Tester, 2nd Shift.
The rate for this position is $27.00 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. The core hours are Monday through Thursday from 3:00pm until 1:00 am.
This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:
The Tester is responsible for conducting electrical tests on assemblies and components to ensure conformance with specifications and performance requirements, as well as troubleshooting and resolving complex circuitry issues.
Use test consoles, electrical meters, electronic test equipment, hand tools, gauges, and mechanical measuring equipment to ensure products meet customer specifications.Perform production testing on medium voltage assemblies, switches, components, plugs, network protectors, and related components using wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturing documentation.
Diagnose and correct electrical issues; collaborate with managers or engineers as needed to verify circuit operation and recommend corrective actions.
Complete required test records and documentation.
Maintain knowledge of and comply with voltage safety requirements.
Travel as needed to support customer interactions, work at internal or external sites, and participate in company projects or assignments.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Basic (Required):
Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Technology, or an equivalent field.
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Greenwood, SC will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred:
1 year of industrial manufacturing experience
1 year of experience using hand and pneumatic (air) tools.
1 year of electrical drafting
Position Criteria:
Strong verbal and written communication, persuasive abilities, and analytical problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with individuals and teams in a collaborative environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as business needs require.
Ability to safely use hand and power tools, step ladders, and cranes to assemble products and verify quality in a Lean environment.
Physical Demands (with or wihtout accomodation):
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach at or above shoulder level, grip, handle objects, and communicate verbally.
Frequently required to stoop, lift, carry, push, and pull, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Occasionally required to push or pull loads over 100 pounds with assistance and operate material handling equipment, including powered industrial vehicles.
Vision requirements include close and distance vision, depth perception, and color discrimination.
Work Environment:
Regular exposure to noise.
Frequent exposure to dust.
