Job Description

As an electromechanical assembler, you will play a crucial role in our production line, ensuring quality and efficiency in every step of the process.
Responsibilities
Perform routine assembly operations of a repetitive nature on mechanical and/or electronic components and sub-assemblies.
Work from samples, bills of material, prints, and work instructions, as well as verbal instructions.
Use various hand and power tools to perform work.
Assemble devices to form complete units or subassemblies, including programming transmitters and using laser equipment.
Build sub-components as needed using various tools and machines.
Perform visual inspection and functional testing during assembly operations.
Conduct calibration for devices as needed.
Maintain accurate inventory and notify the team lead of adjustments or scrap.
Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift.
High attention to detail with a focus on quality.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and units of measurement.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Assembly experience preferred.
Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
Experience using torque equipment is advantageous.

Work Environment
The work environment is temperature-controlled and requires steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and gloves. We operate on a 1st shift from 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM and a 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM, with potential overtime announced in advance. Our culture focuses heavily on quality, safety, and collaboration, with employees encouraged to submit improvement process recommendations. We value a diverse, laid-back culture where collaboration and communication are key.. $18 - $22/ hr depending on experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwood, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
