Job Description
Responsibilities
Perform routine assembly operations on components and sub-assemblies.
Work from samples, bills of material, prints, and work instructions, as well as verbal instructions.
Use various hand and power tools to perform work.
Assemble devices (mechanical and/or electronic) to form complete units or subassemblies
Conduct visual inspection and functional testing during assembly operations.
Perform calibration for devices as needed.
Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift.
High attention to detail with a focus on quality.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and units of measurement.
Basic computer skills, including the Microsoft suite.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Assembly experience preferred.
Experience in manufacturing is an advantage.
Experience using torque equipment is a plus.

Work Environment
Our facility operates on two shifts: 1st Shift and 2nd Shift with potential for overtime. Candidates should be prepared for occasional weekend support. The environment is temperature-controlled and requires steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and gloves. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwood, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
