Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine assembly operations on components and sub-assemblies.

  • Work from samples, bills of material, prints, and work instructions, as well as verbal instructions.

  • Use various hand and power tools to perform work.

  • Assemble devices (mechanical and/or electronic) to form complete units or subassemblies

  • Conduct visual inspection and functional testing during assembly operations.

  • Perform calibration for devices as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.

  • Experience using hand and power tools.

  • Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift.

  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality.

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.

  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and units of measurement.

  • Basic computer skills, including the Microsoft suite.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Assembly experience preferred.

  • Experience in manufacturing is an advantage.

  • Experience using torque equipment is a plus.

Work Environment

Our facility operates on two shifts: 1st Shift and 2nd Shift with potential for overtime. Candidates should be prepared for occasional weekend support. The environment is temperature-controlled and requires steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and gloves. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwood, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
