Total Rewards Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Total Rewards professional to support a short-term engagement focused on equity compensation and employee total rewards reporting. This individual will play a critical role in administering Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and producing comprehensive total rewards statements for employees. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer the Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) lifecycle, including grants, vesting schedules, reporting, and coordination with internal stakeholders.

  • Prepare and produce employee total rewards statements, ensuring accuracy and clarity across compensation and benefits data.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for equity compensation and total rewards, working closely with HR, Payroll, Compensation, and Finance teams to ensure data integrity and process alignment.

  • Leverage Workday (preferred) or similar HRIS platforms to support reporting and administration needs.

  • Respond to ad-hoc total rewards requests and provide analytical support as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations related to equity compensation.

Essential Skills

  • Hands-on experience managing the full RSU lifecycle, including grants, vesting schedules, reporting, and compliance.

  • Proven ability to prepare accurate and comprehensive employee total rewards statements covering compensation and equity data.

  • Strong proficiency using Workday (preferred) or similar HRIS platforms for reporting, administration, and data validation.

  • Experience partnering with HR, Payroll, Compensation, and Finance teams to ensure data integrity and process alignment.

  • Ability to respond to ad-hoc total rewards requests and provide analytical support in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of internal controls, policies, and applicable regulations related to equity compensation.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and operate with minimal oversight.

  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy in compensation and rewards data management.

  • Clear and effective communicator capable of serving as a subject matter expert with internal stakeholders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, or Equity Administration.

  • Proven, hands-on experience managing RSU programs.

  • Strong understanding of total rewards components, including compensation and equity.

  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and operate with minimal oversight.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across functions.

Work Environment

This position requires onsite work five days a week, conveniently located a five-minute walk from the train station. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring a high level of independent execution and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Greenwich, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
