Our client, a leader in the industrial engineering sector, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer III to join their team. What's the Job?
Execute 2D & 3D gas turbine rotor finite element analyses in Ansys
Perform post-processing exercises such as LCF crack initiation, crack propagation, and strength evaluations
Pull CAD models from PLM and work with CAD models in Siemens NX
Summarize and document analytical results for project reports
Support automation of routine tasks using Python as needed
What's Needed?
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
6+ years of relevant work experience in mechanical design and analysis
Proficiency in Ansys for finite element analysis
Experience with CAD modeling and manipulation in Siemens NX
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
