Our client, a leader in the Energy & Power Generation sector, seeks a Design Liaison Engineer to drive innovation and excellence across global supply chains and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities
Champion Collaboration: Work closely with Global Supply Chain (GSC) partners to drive process improvements, resolve hardware non-conformances, and ensure exceptional quality for our customers.
Design for Manufacturing Excellence: Promote design for producibility, lean flow, and concurrent engineering.
Enable Cutting-Edge Solutions: Support hardware qualifications for new processes, process changes, and equipment. Apply your expertise in HGP design and manufacturing to deliver cost-effective, high-performing parts.
Kaizen & Lean Leadership: Take part in Supply Chain Kaizen events and Lean Action Workouts to proactively reduce defects and boost process efficiencies.
Technology Advancement: Help set qualification standards for special processes (castings, coatings, holedrilling, and more) and support top manufacturing issue resolutions.
Build an Exceptional Team Culture: Foster teamwork, morale, urgency, and a relentless focus on quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
At least 2 years of relevant experience.
This position is strictly for a Design Liaison Engineer. Only candidates meeting all requirements will be considered.
What Will Make You Stand Out?
Experience with gas turbine engineering, especially Hot Section components.
Hands-on manufacturing experience in a lean environment.
Proficient in lean manufacturing & statistical process control.
Expertise in HGP components: NX, GD&T, ANSYS Classic.
Skilled at building trust within teams and across organizations.
Proven track record in advanced manufacturing processes.
A true customer satisfaction champion with a strong quality orientation.
Exceptional teamwork, communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.

Technical Must-Haves
Experience designing gas turbine hardware or similar rotating machinery, especially hot gas path components.
Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, coatings, and non-conformance disposition.
Proficient with Ansys, NX, and technical drawing interpretation (GD&T).
Strong organization, prioritization, and communication skills for a fast-paced, global environment.
Demonstrated humility, open-mindedness, self-motivation, and a continuous improvement ethos.
