What's the Job?
Utilize ANSYS Classic to model and perform mechanical lifing analysis on gas turbine rotating blades, identifying potential defects and ensuring component durability.
Manipulate and modify models using NX software to optimize design and performance of turbine components.
Post-process, document, and present analysis results clearly to technical teams to support engineering decision-making.
Apply various lifing tools and templates to complete comprehensive engineering evaluations aligned with industry standards.
Follow mechanical design practices and templates to maintain consistency and quality across engineering projects.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university or college.
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in mechanical analysis or design, preferably within the aerospace or energy sectors.
Proficiency in ANSYS Classic and NX software for modeling and analysis tasks.
Strong understanding of mechanical design practices, templates, and industry standards.
Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills to effectively convey technical information.
