Job Description:
Job Overview
The Shipper / Receiver will be responsible for receiving all incoming material and shipping products to customers and subcontractors. Accept and document packages and deliveries made to the facility. Identify and resolve shipping, storage, or receiving discrepancies as they arise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving upon arrival as required. Must stage material in designated areas or place in racks as required.
Completing data entry.
Prepares outgoing materials using a variety of methods including, but not limited to, scanning, labeling, wrapping. Completes required paperwork to accompany outgoing materials such as Manifest and Intercompany Bills of Lading.
Work with buyer and planners to resolve any issues with packing list or Purchase orders
Help in maintaining inventory in warehouse by completing row audits and investigating variances.
Coordinate with carriers to ship and receive materials
General housekeeping of work area
Complete kitting work orders for manufacturing
Other duties as assigned, including daily Cycle count
Lead the quarterly Physical Inventory
Work with Engineering and management to ensure packages are received on time and appropriate transactions done in SAP.
Perform other job-related duties as required
Perform Physical inventory as needed
Help the warehouse team troubleshoot, and create corrective action to prevent reoccurrence
Work with plant managers, finance, and engineers to implement new logistics processes
Schedule: Overnight | 10:30 PM–6:30 AM | Starts Sunday night
What your background should look like
HS degree or GED
Strong keyboarding and computer skills
Good communication skills
Strong Math skills
Over +3 years experience using SAP doing transactions for shipping, receiving, inventory
Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management.
Basic computer skills – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, data entry.
Ability to multitask and prioritize work to successfully accomplish job duties
+5 years experience working in shipping and receiving
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $47,900 – $71,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
