CENTRAL GARDEN & PET COMPANY Maintenance Technician in Greenfield, Missouri
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains the following equipment: All bag line equipment , augers, legs, mixers, s eed and grain cleaning and conveying equipment.
- All pesticide impregnating equipment/ pumps.
- Services of front - end loader s , forklifts, air compressors and pneumatic valves .
- Pre-shift inspections on all machines.
- Maint ain the Filters on Dust Collection System .
- Issues written purchase requests for all the parts and maintenance supplies.
- Perform electrical, plumbing, lube and construction activities as needed throughout the facility.
- Understanding of the department budget.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate or GED.
- Basic math skills required.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be able to work indoor s and outdoor s.
- Must be able to consistently be able to sit, stand and walk throughout the shift depending on the activity which is being performed.
- The p resence of airborne dust may require the use of a dust mask respirator depending on the type of product being transported . A dust mask might be required following a fit test.
- Must wear all personal protective equipment to safely perform maintenance duties.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
