Position Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides evaluations, treatment, and documentation of therapy services for students in accordance with each student’s individualized plan of care and physician orders. This role is essential to supporting student communication, academic success, and overall well-being within the school environment.
Caseloads are capped at 55 students.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
Provide direct therapy services aligned with each student’s IEP and care plan.
Document all therapy sessions and progress in accordance with school and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as professional standards of practice.
Minimum Requirements
Active California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
California CTC Credential (Required)
CCC-SLP preferred; may be required depending on state/contract
Current CPR certification (if applicable)
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as applicable)
Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all state, local, and federal requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age

Weekly Pay Package: $3,400
Travel SLP
Pay Rate: $52/hr
Meals Per Diem: $644/week
Housing Per Diem: $1,337/week
Total Weekly Pay Package: $4,061
