Sweetwater County Government Administrative Assistant in Green River, Wyoming
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY AND PERFORMANCE:
Essential Duties:
- Effectively manages accounts receivable/payable in an effort to expedite the collection of Community Nursing accounts.
- Performs data entry for patient information into the database.
- Assists in preparing public health information to be shared with the community.
- Prepares monthly revenue and expenditure reports.
- Post ledgers to appropriate line items.
- Prepares end of month reports.
- Posts patient charges and payments into QuickBooks.
- Records invoices received and disbursements into QuickBooks.
- Nursing & office supplies: maintains inventory and orders supplies.
- Enters data into the State-Wide Registry for immunization records.
- Provides information to the public and to operational personnel.
PHYSICAL AND RELATED REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to perform sedentary physical work and to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, ride, bend, kneel and perform similar body movements.
- Possesses hand/eye/foot coordination adequate to operate a computer and other office equipment.
- Ability to talk and hear in person and by telephone.
- Ability to see and read instructions, maps, computer files and legal descriptions.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Any combination of education, training and experience equivalent to graduation from high school including courses in data entry, typing and other clerical functions, plus two years of office experience.
