Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The role of a Reliability Technician is to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while safely completing the processes associated with preventive maintenance and repair of equipment in the plant. Reliability Technicians strive to provide a safe working atmosphere for all employees by ensuring equipment is in good working condition, reliable, and complies with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair of equipment within the plant.

  • Identify and use SAE versus metric sockets, including ¼, 3/8, and ½” drives and ratchets.

  • Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and drawings.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues such as chains, belts, pulleys, augers, load cells, pumps, and motors.

  • Address basic pneumatic issues, including air compressors, vacuum systems, air lines, and solenoids.

  • Repair instrumentation and handle basic electrical tasks, such as working with extruder instrumentation, HDMI screens, fuses, plugs, and wiring.

  • Understand and troubleshoot basic circuits, including resistance circuits, and measure heater band resistance.

  • Utilize multimeters to verify sensor functionality.

  • Work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Switch tasks quickly to ensure equipment reliability and production flow.

  • Consistently seek ways to improve quality, safety, and productivity.

  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

  • Operate various types of lift trucks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Green Bay, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
