JOB REQUIREMENTS: The District Manager oversees the operations of multiple Adult Family Homes (AFHs) within an assigned district. This role ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations, provides leadership to home managers and staff, supports high-quality resident care, and manages budgets and staffing to achieve operational efficiency. Oversight & Compliance Ensure each AFH complies with applicable laws, licensing regulations, and company policies. Conduct regular audits and inspections of each facility. Prepare for and respond to state inspections and investigations. Leadership & Staff Management Supervise home managers and provide guidance on day-to-day operations. Support hiring, training, and evaluation of staff at each location. Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement. Resident Care Ensure residents receive quality care in a safe, respectful, and home-like environment. Monitor resident satisfaction and resolve escalated concerns or complaints. Financial Management Oversee budgets, expenses, and revenue for each AFH in the district. Assist with billing, payroll, and supply procurement to ensure financial sustainability. Communication & Reporting Serve as the primary point of contact between AFHs and the corporate or regional office. Maintain documentation and submit regular performance and compliance reports. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor\'s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, social work, or related field (preferred). 3+ years of experience managing adult family homes, assisted living, or similar environments. Proven leadership and staff supervision skills. Strong understanding of local and state adult care regulations. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
