Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager will play a crucial role in the planning, organization, and management of day-to-day operations within the project management team. This position supports Project Managers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in pre/post project design meetings and attend customer/site coordination meetings as applicable.

  • Provide support to Project Managers upon receipt of orders to assist in maintaining and/or improving project margins.

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor construction schedules.

  • Review project documents and specifications to accurately develop baseline schedules, including all required dates, activities, and milestones.

  • Perform progress schedule updates and provide comprehensive reporting and narratives.

  • Update trackers with daily on-site progress utilizing the current database systems.

  • Break down project estimates to baseline earned averages versus the bid.

  • Manage resources and provide detailed reporting.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in construction management and project management.

  • Experience with Primavera P6, Bluebeam, RFIs, change orders, and blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Construction Management or a related field.

  • Willingness to travel nationally (50-70%).

Work Environment

This role is Monday - Friday and requires working 50 hours per week. There is 50% national travel.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Green Bay, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
