Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations and ensure accuracy in accounting processes. The role requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards in all aspects of financial management.
Responsibilities:
• Process and verify parts invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Input and maintain customer information within the accounting master file.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and manage collections for overdue accounts.
• Handle intercompany invoicing, resolving discrepancies in collaboration with colleagues.
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, clients, and external parties.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in daily tasks.
• Assist in preparing documentation and reports for annual audits.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Support general ledger maintenance and ensure proper journal entries are recorded. Requirements • Associate’s degree in accounting or finance, with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Experience with journal entries and bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with SAP or other accounting software systems.
• Strong understanding of audit processes and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (preferred) with intercompany accounting experience as a plus.
