CAPEX Project Manager / Junior Project Manager

Location: Manchester Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office

Type: Fixed Term - 12 months FTC

Bureau Veritas is looking for a motivated and detail‑driven Project Manager to join our growing CAPEX division . This is an exciting opportunity to lead impactful projects from planning through to delivery, working with cross‑functional teams to ensure outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing project budgets, tracking spend, forecasting costs, and optimising financial performance

  • Creating detailed project plans, timelines, and task allocations

  • Running regular project updates and status meetings with key stakeholders

  • Identifying and resolving project challenges, including scope changes and resource constraints

  • Building strong working relationships across internal teams and external partners

  • Monitoring and reporting on progress, risks, issues, and performance metrics

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in project or contract management

  • Strong client management abilities and stakeholder relationship skills

  • Solid commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery practices

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, rules, and industry guidance

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in health & safety

  • A‑Level or equivalent education
