Manufacturing Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician installs, maintains, and repairs production machinery and facility equipment in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. This role performs both emergency and scheduled maintenance, troubleshoots complex mechanical and electrical issues, and supports preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
Perform highly diversified duties to install, maintain, and repair production machines and plant facilities equipment.
Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues on production machinery and facility systems.
Execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks in line with established systems and processes to support business goals and objectives.
Carry out mechanical, electrical, electrical controls, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and plumbing troubleshooting and repair on production machines.
Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to perform accurate and efficient repairs.
Troubleshoot and maintain electrical and electronic control circuits, including PLCs and VFDs, to ensure proper machine functionality.
Identify potential technical issues proactively and resolve them with minimal supervision.
Support facility maintenance activities to keep the plant and equipment in good working order and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Be available for on-call support as needed to respond to urgent maintenance issues.
Work safely at all times, following plant procedures and maintenance best practices to protect personnel, equipment, and product quality.
Stand and work on concrete floors for extended periods while performing maintenance tasks.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
High school diploma or GED.
Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting and repair in an industrial environment.
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain electrical and electronic control circuits.
Proficiency in mechanical maintenance and repair of production machinery.
Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics, including troubleshooting and repair.
Ability to perform plumbing-related maintenance and repairs.
Experience with preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
Experience with PLC troubleshooting, including Siemens PLCs.
Experience with Siemens VFDs and Allen-Bradley VFDs.
Ability to identify technical issues and resolve them with minimal supervision.
Ability to be on call to support emergency maintenance needs.
Ability to stand on concrete floors for extended periods.
Job Details:
Direct Hire Position in Gray Court, SC
Pay : $25 - $35/hr
Shifts Available : 223 Schedule
1st: 6:45am - 7pm
3rd: 6:45pm - 7am

Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing plant that produces hygiene products and operates under FDA-regulated standards, resulting in a high level of cleanliness and organization. The facility is climate controlled, providing a comfortable work environment throughout the year. Maintenance work takes place on and around production machinery and facility systems, including electrical and electronic control circuits, PLCs (such as Siemens), and variable frequency drives from Siemens and Allen-Bradley. The position involves standing on concrete floors for extended periods and responding to both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance needs, including occasional on-call support. The environment emphasizes adherence to regulatory requirements, safe work practices, and consistent equipment reliability.

The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $72800.00/yr.
