About Metric Strength

Metric Strength is a strength training studio in Granville, Ohio. We use adaptive resistance machines to run focused, 20-minute sessions grounded in high-intensity training research. The facility is small by design, where one or two clients are training at a time.

The Role

We're looking for part-time Strength Trainers to guide members through 20-minute sessions. Our machines handle resistance programming and real-time load adjustment automatically. Your job is to coach form, tempo, and breathing, manage session flow, and deliver an exceptional client experience.

Compensation

$22.00/hour base + $8.00 per additional client trained within the hour. No commission. No sales targets. You earn more by training more clients.

Schedule

Focused 2--3 hour shifts, 6--12 hours per week. Currently hiring for these available windows:

• Early Morning: 7:00 AM -- 10:00 AM (Mon--Fri)
• Evening: 4:00 PM -- 7:00 PM (Mon--Fri)
• Saturday: 9:00 AM -- 12:00 PM

Requirements

• Current personal training certification (NCCA-accredited)
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Must pass a background check
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coach a professional adult clientele
• Interest in evidence-based, high-intensity strength training
• Reliable transportation to Granville, OH

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or related field
• Experience with high-intensity training (HIT) methodology
• Boutique or small-studio fitness experience
