Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking dependable and mechanically inclined individuals to join our team as Heavy Industrial Assemblers. This role is based as a contract position lasting 3-4 months, with the potential to move to another department after the contract ends. Ideal candidates will have forklift experience and a strong work ethic, ready to contribute to high-volume production in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the assembly of large-scale electronic and mechanical components for large battery enclosures using hand and power tools.

  • Operate forklifts (stand-up preferred) to move heavy materials and battery modules.

  • Push and maneuver carts loaded with up to 750 lbs of equipment.

  • Follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols.

  • Perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods.

  • Collaborate with team members and material handlers to maintain production flow.

  • Frequent lifting of 50 lbs, walking, bending, and pushing 750 lb battery modules on carts.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and perform physically demanding tasks.

  • Consistently moving, lifting, and walking.

  • Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with tools such as torque wrenches, drills, and crimpers.

  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.

  • Strong teamwork, reliability, and willingness to be coached.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Able to stand throughout shift.

Work Environment

The Tooele site offers a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance. All employees receive OSHA-compliant training, PPE, and site-specific safety orientation. This is a fully on-site role with strict attendance and timekeeping protocols. Employees must wear Steel or composite-toed shoes to start work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grantsville, UT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
