Essential Functions * Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal sales teams. * Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and customer portals promptly and professionally. * Enter customer orders into the ERP system with a goal of 100% accuracy. * Prepare and enter quotes into the ERP system or shared directories. * Assist customers in finding the right components using product catalogs, web-based resources, and internal tools. * Expedite orders as needed to meet delivery commitments. * Provide solutions in a team-oriented environment and support outside sales as required (quoting, expediting, customer visits). * Follow up on quotes and actively support sales development, including up-selling and cross-selling opportunities. Experience, Education and Skills * High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred (especially in Fluid Power or Technical programs). * 2+ years of customer service or inside sales experience, preferably in industrial distribution, manufacturing, or related industries. * Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, fluid power, electrical, power transmission, motors, or motion control is highly desirable. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and able to quickly learn CRM systems (experience with Trend is a plus). * Strong analytical, mathematical, and mechanical aptitude. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. * Calm under pressure, with sound judgment and decision-making abilities. * Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
