Job Title: Assembly Maintenance Technician Job Description
Join our team as an Assembly Maintenance Technician, where you'll develop foundational maintenance skills in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role, guided by Senior Technicians, involves working with 20+ year old dial-type and chain-driven MK platform machines. You'll gain proficiency in our CMMS platform and actively support the TPM/DTM culture, rotating across line assignments for training breadth.
Responsibilities
Execute assigned preventive maintenance routes under Senior Technician guidance. Perform routine inspections, lubrication, filter changes, belt and chain adjustments, and basic component replacements.
Respond to equipment breakdowns alongside Senior Technicians, assisting with diagnosis, disassembly, component replacement, and reassembly.
Participate actively in the formal Apprenticeship Program, completing 8,000 hours of structured on-the-job training across various work process categories.
Support DTM activities by assisting operators with cleaning as inspection, basic condition restoration, and abnormality identification.
Assist with spare parts inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and issuing parts from maintenance cribs.
Develop proficiency in CMMS platforms, completing work orders with time, materials, failure codes, and technician notes.
Maintain exemplary safety practices, completing all required safety training including LOTO, confined space awareness, hot work, fall protection, and electrical safety.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or GED
5-10 years of industrial maintenance experience
Strong mechanical aptitude demonstrated through prior work experience, training, or assessment
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
Willingness to work any shift in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate’s degree or technical certificate in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred
Basic welding skills (MIG or stick)
Plastics manufacturing experience (injection molding or high-speed assembly)
Experience with legacy automated assembly equipment (dial machines, chain-driven platforms)
Working knowledge of CMMS platforms

Work Environment
Work in a high-tech, fast-paced environment with a team of 40+ maintenance technicians. The position offers flexibility in shift training and includes differentials for 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shifts. Training will occur on any shift for the first few months before transitioning to a designated shift.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $74880.00/yr.
